I know I keep on about patience and how wonderful my couples are, but Caroline & Stuart have been absolutely brilliant over the past few months. They let me have control over the music for their Highlights film, they sat back and let me take whatever time I needed for the edit, and they have been SO excited to see the final film. (Also a huge thank you for the lovely bottle of Veuve! Yummy!)

The main feature edit is just lovely (even if I say so myself) so it was always going to be tough to create a highlights film that not only reached the standard of the main edit, but also told their story. I hope I managed it.

So, onto the wedding…

Caroline & Stuart were married at the spectacular Hopetoun House late last year. Their story is a beautiful one; a tale of long distance travel, of finally finding the right person, and about celebrating the true love between two people. Caroline & Stuart will have a wonderful life together. I know it’s said too often, but really, they are just perfect together.

The Wedding Film features a few amazing people along the way so they really do deserve a mention! Firstly the lovely peeps at BlueSky Photography. Alie & Niels are just so supportive of what we do, they just “get it”, which is brilliant. They give us a few moments here and there to make sure we all get what we need to tell our stories. We also have a great laugh too. I think it’s a good sign that the only film outtakes of the day were of us laughing together. If you don’t enjoy what you do, best find something else I reckon!

Next is Gemma and her team at Planet Flowers. Simply stunning….not sure I can find the words…just see for yourself in the film! The artistry is amazing.

The Ceilidh Band? Rerr Terr – so much energy, so much fun and real quality musicianship. Definitely not your run of the mill ceilidh band! Matched up with Stuart from Soul2Soul disco… some great lighting (SO UNDERESTIMATED, hint hint B&G’s…PLEASE think about your dancing lighting!!!). Overall, a perfect blend for the evening’s entertainment!

Finally the guys and gals at Hopetoun House itself. Total dedication to quality and a genuine wish to provide the very best customer service – something that is achieved at every single event they host. Very well done Jennifer and the Team at Heritage Portfolio! Oh and what a venue!

I know it might sound like an acceptance speech, but I really appreciate the support of these guys, and the quality and attention to detail of such high quality wedding suppliers.

So, the film…..

Well, I’ve rambled on too much in this post, I’m not sure there’s room to add a ‘video’  So, I’ll post that tomorrow.
