A much appreciated virtue.

Well it’s that time of year again. The wedding filming is almost over and November through to April is the phrenetic editing time where I sit in front of my Mac for many many hours a day.

It’s also the time where I usually make a little blog post explaining just why things take so long, and also to thank my wonderful couples for just being SO patient!

I think one of the things that sets us apart is the sheer amount of editing time involved in our films. Not only do I spend a LONG time in the editing and post-production phases but each film simply takes as long as it takes. Theres no clock watching, no xyz amount of hours limit on the editing process. Every film really does just take as long as is necessary to make it perfect.

For that reason it’s always hard to put down an exact turnaround time, but we do give an indication and we’re pretty close to that right now. It would be so easy to rush, cut corners and just get films ‘out the door’ in half the time, but that’s simply not what I’m about. I have such pride in the work I do and I really hope that shows.

So thanks once again to all our wonderful couples for being so patient, it really is a great virtue. Thank you.

One superbly patient couple are Emma & Jonathan and I’d like to share with you a trailer for their wedding film, currently in production. We had a fabulous day at Dalhousie Castle and it was great to work with Alan & Jackie Rankine again, the whole day was perfect and and oh that sunset in the cornfield…. just amazing!

So here’s a Trailer to whet the appetite a little, not too long to go now guys!

All the best, and thanks for ‘keeping the faith’.   😉

Steve
