VOWS Awards Winner 2010 – Design Scotland Video – Best Videographer

I’m absolutely chuffed to bits to announce that we’ve just won the 2010 Scottish VOWS Award (Voted Outstanding Wedding Supplier)  for Best Videographer !

3…is a magic number!

We’ve been nominated every year now since 2006 and I think that alone says something about the consistently high level of customer service we offer, but to have won this award THREE times now (2006, 2008, 2010) gives us such a huge amount of pride in what we do.

2010 has been just  SO rewarding!  To have been a winner in the 2010 Institute of Videography UK Awards for one of our Wedding Films, and now to have won the 2010 VOWS Awards, it’s just been an astonishing year for us!

I’d like to thank each and every one of our wonderful (and patient!) couples for voting for us, it means the world to us that you’d take the time to share your experiences of Design Scotland Video. We’ve made so many new friends over the years and that’s just priceless!

Thanks also to Yvonne and Stuart for all your hard work. I think we have a ton of fun doing what we do, and that shows both in our work and how we approach our weddings and our lovely couples!

The Awards Dinner

We had a fab time at The VOWS Awards dinner and shared some giggles with a bunch of great people from across the Scottish wedding industry. Our table was a hoot, with everyone having being VOWS Nominated.  So thanks to Mette and Duncas from Freja Fashion, Jay & Christina from Elemental Weddings, and Niels & Alie (plus Jill & Olivia) from Blue Sky Photography (they won the ‘best wedding photographer’ category! woop).

We had a great night, SO much fun. Too many peeps to list here but great to see Louisa & Luci from Hopetoun House, Ewan from Drumtochty Castle (your sporran was awesome!), Siobhan from Dundas, Geoff from 21cc Fireworks, Lucy from LG Makeup, and of course our brilliant ‘Team Paris’ mates ‘Donna & Mark of Archibald Photography who were also nominated again this year.  It was great catching up with everyone….we really need more events like this in the calendar 🙂

So once again, thanks to everyone who voted for us in the VOWS Awards, both this year and every previous year, we couldn’t have done it without you!  [acceptance speech ends 😉 ]
