Trailers
Trailers are brilliant to edit as they not only give the couple the chance to see a special short film of their wedding just a few days afterwards, but they also give me the chance to take a quick peek through the footage before it get’s popped into the edit queue for the full edit some (or ‘many’ during the summer months!) weeks later.
Beth & Rob were married on a beautiful April Day in an outdoor ceremony at Guthrie Castle – a fabulous location. The whole day was just about enjoying time with family and friends and above all having fun. From Rob’s love of his BMW Z4 (and Beth of course) to the amazing first dance they choreographed (and worked very hard at perfecting) the day was filled with very special moments for them both, and I think we managed to capture them pretty well.
There are all sorts of emotions on the wedding day, and it’s great to show those in the film, both the fun and excitement, but also the building tension as the ceremony draws closer. I really hope this film gives you a sneak peek at Beth & Rob’s special day, they certainly enjoyed it (Note to Beth & Rob: Thank’s SO much for the lovely bottle of bubbly – very kind and very much appreciated!)
The (extended) Trailer below was posted 7 days after the wedding and was watched by friends and family far and wide. It really is a great way to let people get a teaser of what is to come, and also to show them a brief reminder while the day is still fresh in guests minds.
I must say a special thanks to the great staff at Guthrie Castle – they were just really helpful and accommodating, also thanks to photographer David Bryce – great working with you!
