The Gherkin Wedding Video - Isabel & Andy's London Wedding Film Highlights
So, The Gherkin! Or as it should be known 30 St Mary Axe in the City of London.
Pretty cool wedding venue huh! Not half.
We've known Isabel and Andy for a while now, since Isabel's bro's wedding at Kinkell Byre (which you can see here! Luis and Helen at Kinkell Byre, St Andrews) and it was a huge, massive, amazing privilege for the family to ask us to film down in London! We were chuffed to bits 🙂
I must say, the staff at The Gherkin were brilliant, really helpful and it was such a cool space to film a wedding in, so many cool areas!
Isabel & Andy both got ready at apartments in the City of London, and it was a lovely short walk to The Gherkin, such a historic part of London too (and eerily quiet on a Saturday as all the traders aren't working - that was a surprise for us). The weather also played ball as this was early January and it was a lovely sunny day!
With the ceremony on one floor and the drinks & evening receptions on the upper atrium, the views are just spectacular, what a place!
Great weddings though just aren't made by super cool places and views though, they are made by people! Isabel & Andy's day was filled with all the people who mean so much to them, and their wedding day was super chilled with everyone there relishing the chance to celebrate and have the best time! A truly great gathering of family and friends 🙂
Isabel & Andy, thank you so much for trusting us, and for your utterly amazing hospitality! We appreciated it hugely!
