Crear Wedding Film | Scotland | Cherry Tree Films

This Crear Wedding Film makes us smile, a lot.

Scotland is such a beautiful place for a wedding videographer, and it’s a real joy to film at somewhere as special as Crear.  Wedding Videography is all about capturing real emotion and transferring that into a wedding video that the couple will treasure forever.

Meryl & Marty’s Wedding Day (from way back in 2010) is a special memory as their wedding film was one of the first few weddings we started filming with DSLR’s, and in fact that I filmed on my own.  It was pretty quickly that we realised that DSLR’s were the way forward for cinematic wedding videography and we haven’t look back since.  Continually investing in new equipment, learning new editing styles etc and it’s fun to see the progression from back in 2010 to now, and Cherry Tree Films.

Meryl & Marty’s wedding was a wonderfully intimate affair, and with such a wonderful remote location as Crear, it was the perfect location for them, plus the ability to treat Crear as a blank canvas, and real put their own stamp on their wedding.  Their Crear wedding film was a total hoot to be part of.

Some subtle cinematic messages, stunning landscapes, a lovely Humanist Celebrant reading and a couple so very much in love and happy with life… all made for a film that we still love to watch, even many years later. Things have gone from strength to strength for Cherry Tree Films, and while we perhaps look back on these older films with a slightly critical eye, we also have great fondness for them, as we played a big part in a couples special wedding day.

Here’s to the next chapter!

Enjoy.
