Balmoral Hotel Wedding Film Trailer by Cherry Tree Films, Edinburgh

Today we’re delighted to share with you, Hannah & Doug’s Balmoral Hotel Wedding Film Trailer from October.  We’re privileged to be able to film at the top wedding venues across Edinburgh and Scotland and a wedding at The Balmoral Hotel is certainly one of those!  The luxurious surroundings, the impeccable service, and the world class food are just a few of the reasons why The Balmoral Hotel is one of Edinburgh’s best wedding venues.

Hannah & Doug came to us from a recommendation from a previous couple (in fact there were a couple of previous Cherry Tree couples at their wedding, strutting their stuff on the dancefloor as usual!) and it was with more than a little trepidation that we discovered that Hannah had worked in Hollywood, rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous!  Eek.  Their story started way back in Junior School and as a visual hint to that, we loved the print that had their personal drawings of themselves from their Jnr school class (Hannah T. & Douglas P.) brilliant stuff guys!

The brief for their Balmoral Hotel wedding film was simple though, capture the essence of their wedding day in a real and natural way, be as unobtrusive as possible and show how much fun a wedding can be.  So with a ceremony at the stunning St Mary’s Cathedral in Palmerston Place, followed by reception at The Balmoral Hotel, hilarious speeches, a great to work with photographer in Marc Millar, an awesome band and lots of guests there to have a ball…. Job done!
