Balmoral Hotel Wedding Film Trailer – Victoria & Iain

This was a special one for us.  Victoria is the daughter of one of our lovely neighbours and it’s a really special honour to be asked to film their wedding.  It was also pretty weird for Yvonne to get to walk just 50m to film Bride preps! If only the travel requirements were always that simple 🙂

It’s been so much fun getting to know Victoria & Iain over the past few months, and also makes me (Steve) realise that I really should regulate my posts on Facebook and Instagram a little more, as sometimes I forget just how many couples we have as friends and followers [I’ll keep the apologies for political rants and inappropriate postings for another time!]

With Iain being in the military there were so many cool shots over the day, and the smell of Brasso in the morning took me right back to my childhood! [Think old country pub and horse brasses galore!].

Honestly, it was a brilliant day with so much fun, and even a surprise singer through the meal (an amazing Les Miserables cover which is Victoria’s favourite musical, hence the intro piece to the trailer) and we even had a smattering of snow, which was a total bonus.

This trailer is a little longer than usual, just so much to cram in, and I just know that the Full film, and Highlights are going to be epic when their turn in the edit queue come around.  Can’t wait 🙂

So to Victoria and Iain, thanks for being so much fun on the day and so very welcoming!  The absolute highlight for me post-wedding was seeing Victoria write in an Instagram post “We finally have our very own Cherry Tree and it’s the best I’ve ever seen!!”.  That means such a lot to us, amazing! Thank you! 😀 😀

Steve & Yvonne x

PS: Victoria, I SO wish I could share Simon’s speech punchline with the world….Don’t worry though, I’ll keep that one safe. Hope granny has recovered! 😉
